When You Don't Think You Can Win Fair and Square

This is really really disturbing...
And I can't help but notice the number of times it says "Republican".

From CNN:
ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- College senior Kyla Berry was looking forward to voting in her first presidential election, even carrying her voter registration card in her wallet.

"Vote suppression is real. It does sometimes happen," said Daniel P. Tokaji, a law professor at Ohio State University. But about two weeks ago, Berry got disturbing news from local election officials.

"This office has received notification from the state of Georgia indicating that you are not a citizen of the United States and therefore, not eligible to vote," a letter from the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections said.

But Berry is a U.S. citizen, born in Boston, Massachusetts. She has a passport and a birth certificate to prove it. Watch some of the concerns of voting experts »

The letter, which was dated October 2, gave her a week from the time it was dated to prove her citizenship. There was a problem, though -- the letter was postmarked October 9.

Holy Hangin' Chads Batman!

This is such an important election for America. It's approval rating worldwide must mirror Bush's rating which is in the 20s.

However this election is a wonderful opportunity to get off this path of self destruction. Like many others abroad I can only sit back and cross my fingers.

Once upon a time I was willing to give most US citizens the benefit of the doubt as to the negative impact of their military excursions on the wrong countries..
now there is such overwhelming evidence that it is inescapable to all but those with an encyclopedic ignorance of world affairs.

When you get to the STOP sign turn Left.

We've only had eight years to fix our voting problems...what's the rush? (KIDDING)

I'm hoping it's such a huuuuge landslide for Obama that the inevitable dirty tricks won't work.
Not kidding.
