I can't wait to see this film. It's from Ellen Spiro and Phil Donahue. LOVE Phil Donahue, though we don't always agree. He speaks his mind and you have to love that. Well I do anyway heh.
Synopsis:
"Body of War is an intimate and transformational feature documentary about the true face of war today. Meet Tomas Young, 25 years old, paralyzed from a bullet to his spine - wounded after serving in Iraq for less than a week.
Body of War is Tomas' coming home story as he evolves into a new person, coming to terms with his disability and finding his own unique and passionate voice against the war. The film is produced and directed by Phil Donahue and Ellen Spiro, and features two original songs by Eddie Vedder. Body of War is a naked and honest portrayal of what it's like inside the body, heart and soul of this extraordinary and heroic young man."

As with most intellectual films, there is a limited showing. There's a link on the main site to show you when the film is coming to your area. I can't link it here as all the links are not unique URLs.
There's also some discussion about the movie on YouTube clips if you search on "Body of War".
When everyone throws out the word patriotism, it's good to see all aspects of patriotism. Patriotism isn't blind. Patriotism isn't silent obedience. I'm tired of that being the new definition of patriotism. As John Edwards said on Bill Maher's show Real Time, patriotism is about more than war.

Wow...what a film. I can't wait to see it judging by the reviews. I hope an enormous amount of Americans see it before the fall elections.
A good patriot tells the Mad King to sod off. Then the tea starts getting dumped.
Will keep an eye for the movie.
