Cydney over at The Celebrity posted her views regarding what the Berkeley City Council is doing in regards to the Marine recruiting office.
Here's my comment left at Sound Politics Public Blog (see my favorites list).
"I'm totally for social protest. My problem with this situation is the city council becoming involved to encourage residents to pressure the recruiting office. Part of being a liberal is tolerance of others' PoV. We may not agree with the war in Iraq, we may not agree with the military in general, whatever, but it should then be a protest, not a city-wide bullying. If the city wants to be involved, they should look at things like what the laws are regarding military recruiters on campus."
